Worth ethic - the principle that hard work is intrinsically virtuous or worthy of reward. I think in this day and age the definition above can get a little confusing. But with Branded Meat Market we know that our work ethic is what feeds America and future generations. Without the work ethic of a rancher there would be no meat at grocery stores, restaurants, or being shipped to your door.
Not to say there are days where you just don't feel like doing a damn thing, but guess what, we do it anyway because the result is for a bigger cause. Putting great tasting beef on your table is what we do and we take pride in. My daughter the other day complained about having to go feed the calves in the cold. Now she is 2.5 years old so I can’t explain why we have to do it but I definitely won't baby her. I tried my best to make her understand 3 things:
Chores make you tough
Tough is what you need to be in this world
The world doesn't revolve around you
Then with a little incentive (I whisper in her ear) we can go for a ride on a horse after.. Needless to say she was game ha!
